Overview
Coordinates clinic operations and assists providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry and medical records management. Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary. Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records. Demonstrates skill in clinical duties such as vitals and health history as directed by clinicians. Manages multiple tasks and assists patients and providers as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
High School, equivalent or higher is required
Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Career Association (NHA) plus either 2 years of experience or graduation from an in-person formal training program
Preferred one or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
Other Information
Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week
Day shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
No on call or weekends
Must be certified through AAMA, AMT or NHA
