Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! An empathic individual with competent observational, clinical, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to meet patient needs and contribute to a positive patient care experience and work environment. Takes part in the daily review and process of internal and self-referrals for behavioral services. Provides coordinated care to a variety of patients enrolled in Behavioral Health services, and functions as part of the interdisciplinary care team by providing education and case management directly to patients and support to Practitioners and/or Behavioral Providers. Performs intake triage, assists patients with mental health screenings, vitals, and referrals to labs. Coordinate with clinic managers and their front/back office services regarding services provided by our clinic. Communicate with staff and providers in an appropriate and respectful way, perform a variety of technical and office support assignments and to do related work as required during our weekend 12 hour shifts.

Clear all phone messages
Check email
Check all platforms throughout the day
Check fax/copier machine
Greet and treat patients with respect and empathy
Make sure front desk is always attended to
Confirm patients for the next day
Documents vitals, screening results, patient history and personal information into EHR as needed.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification and experience working with persons in crisis is preferred.
BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
