Job Description
Brookdale at Home Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) offers full‑time, part‑time and PRN positions to provide one‑on‑one companionship and non‑medical hands‑on care for seniors in Brookdale Senior Living communities.
Responsibilities
Provide one‑on‑one companionship to seniors.
Assist with non‑medical hands‑on care including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care and transfers.
Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.
Provide pet care.
Transport residents to doctor appointments and other errands.
Offer medication reminders.
Check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
Assist with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming).
Maintain State‑tested CNA/STNA certification.
Qualifications
State‑Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State‑Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio.
Completion of State CNA/STNA course required.
Ability to provide personalized care and update resident status at shift start and end.
Benefits
Base pay will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
