Dental Lab Technician Trainee

St. Cloud, MN .
The regular hours for this position are from
7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday , and subject to change from time to time.
This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!
Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
Place completed computer work cards on proper case pans, reviewing doctor, product and finish date information for correctness.
Disinfect all case components using the appropriate disinfection procedure.
Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material.
Number all models and impressions with case number.
Pindex models and place pins in dies.
Saw out dies using proper technique to make dies removable for fabrication.
Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique.
Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship.
Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next day.
Clean work area daily.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities Required
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
Detail oriented.
Minimum Education And Experience Required
Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
No experience required.

Physical Requirements

Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
