Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (No weekends, No holidays)

Minimum Job Requirements
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in nursing
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Licensed Practical Nurse (or current RN licensure is also acceptable)
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
1 – 2 years experience in a related field
Job Overview
This position assists physicians and/or registered nurses in providing clinical care and/or supervising care delivered by medical assistants and collaborates with physicians and other health‑care team members in meeting patient and family needs. The role implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice set forth in the Nurse Practice Act and contributes to the evaluation of patient responses to nursing care, documenting in an accurate and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and safely administer medications to participants in accordance with law, professional standards, scope of practice, and organizational policy. Interpret and execute physician orders accurately, document medications promptly, and answer medication questions, proactively educating participants and caregivers.
Perform technical skills according to hospital’s and department’s policies, procedures, appropriate competencies, and accepted standards of practice.
Determine supply needs for the nursing department and order supplies necessary to maintain these needs.
Demonstrate organizational responsibilities: identify areas for self‑improvement, cooperate with clinical instructors to facilitate effective learning experiences for nursing students, maintain current knowledge in the area of practice, and demonstrate knowledge of organizational and unit changes.
Coordinate monthly turnover regarding Medication Administration Records, participate in monthly review of MARS, and develop MAR for new participants as indicated.
Collect data contributing to nursing assessment, document ongoing observations, and communicate findings to other health‑care team members. Demonstrate knowledge and application of PACE regulations relevant to primary care provision for participants.
