Role Description
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor for a part-time or full time on-site role at our Norcross, GA location. The counselor will work with individuals dealing with substance use disorders, providing therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and offering support during their recovery journey. Other responsibilities include conducting assessments, maintaining detailed client records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in individual and group counseling, active listening, and effective communication
Experience in developing personalized treatment plans, conducting thorough assessments, and maintaining accurate documentation
Knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery processes, and mental health conditions
Ability to foster trust and empathy with clients and colleagues
Hold a valid professional counseling license (e.g., LPC, APC, LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent)
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
Experience in working with SUD/AUD populations
Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques is advantageous
