Job Summary
Compassionate caregiver position at Park Visalia Assisted Living and Memory Care. Provide support to memory‑impaired residents, assist with activities of daily living, and participate in scheduled activities and meals.
Requirements
Must have at least 3 months of experience as a Caregiver.
Responsibilities
Basic knowledge of caregiving practices (training provided).
Perform scheduled activities, maintain regular attendance and punctuality within specified tolerance.
Assist memory‑impaired residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair cleaning, brushing, and transferring to/from activities and meals; lift and transfer residents as needed.
Assist with residents’ environments (clothing, linens, personal belongings).
Assist in meal preparation, presentation, serving, and other dining related responsibilities; record and report changes in residents’ eating habits to the supervisor.
Record and report changes in residents’ condition to the supervisor, including changes in ability to perform activities of daily living, skin changes, bruising, etc.
Use approved charting criteria and procedures to record pertinent information in resident charts.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Schedule & Compensation
Part‑time shifts: 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.; 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. (availability across different days of the week is preferred and should include willingness to work some overnight shifts).
Applicants must be available to work either shift with variable days.
Hourly rate: $17.00–$17.50.
Applicants will be given a schedule 1 month in advance.
