
Animal Care Technician II

Job Description
The Department of Comparative Medicine (DCM) supports the research activities of Tulane University faculty, staff, and students by fostering a comprehensive program of quality animal care. The Animal Care Technician II is an intermediate level position that builds skills in providing husbandry and care to a variety of laboratory animals. The ACT II position works under supervision until deemed proficient by the supervisor.
Employees in the classification may be required to work with, take specific precautions against and/or be immunized against potentially hazardous agents. Required to work weekend, holiday, and emergency work schedules. This position is considered essential personnel.
