
Surgical Dental Assistant - Impact Oral Surgery

Our Dental Assistant at Impact Oral Surgery will assist the dentist with patients to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. Perform clinical and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist. Prepare patient operatory and equipment and assist the doctor during examination and treatment.
Note: This position is for a travel assistant. It reports to the clinic in Bryant and will travel to Conway, Russellville, and El Dorado offices. The assistant will be at the Bryant office at least one day per week right now.
A Few Specific Job Duties
Communicate clearly and calmly the treatment needs to parents and patients utilizing the prescribed treatment plan.
Recognize and identify prior authorization requirements, ensuring signed consent forms.
Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.
Provide clear and concise documentation of all treatment rendered using electronic and paper dental records and forms.
Perform general housekeeping and restocking as needed.

Qualifications
Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or a Certified Dental Assistant.
CPR required.
Trained by an accredited dental assistant school.
1+ years of dental assisting preferred.
