Position: Pharmacist
Institution: Government Medical College, Ongole (under Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh)
Location: Ongole, Andhra Pradesh
Remuneration : As per Government norms
Qualifications
Intermediate or its equivalent as recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh
Diploma in Pharmacy or B.Pharmacy (any set of equivalent examinations acceptable)
Application Fee
Applicants must enclose a demand draft for the processing fee in favour of Principal, Government Medical College, Ongole. Fees: ÂRs. 300. for Open Category candidates, ÂRs. 200. for SC/ST/BC/Physically Challenged candidates.
Method of Selection
Total Marks: 100
75% of the marks allocated to aggregate marks obtained in all qualifying examinations or any equivalent qualification.
Up to 10 marks (1 mark per completed year) for each year after the required qualification (age weighting as per Govt. Memo no.4274/D1/2013).
CGPA holders: CGPA X 9.5 (multiplying factor) X 75%.
Weightage up to 15% for contract/outsourced/honorarium employment, including COVID‑19 service where appropriate.
Important Conditions
The tenure for the contract/outsourcing posts is initially one year from the date of joining, renewable as per Government instructions. The District Selection Committee may terminate the contract at any time with one‑month notice or as per Government directions.
