Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Total Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description: We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a client in Elkins Park, PA. The ideal candidate will provide hands‑on support and ensure the safety and well‑being of the client at all times.
Client Needs & Responsibilities
Assist with mobility; client uses a walker
Provide supervision at all times (client has Alzheimer’s and may wander)
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping
Provide companionship and ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
Experience in caregiving or working with clients with Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred
Patient, attentive, and compassionate
Reliable and punctualAbility to follow care plans and instructions
Must be able to assist with mobility support
