
Program Manager, Education Effect

Job Summary
The Program Manager facilitates the planning, development and delivery of programs and support services for the Unlimited Potential Initiative (UPI), a project of The Education Effect community school initiative. The Program Manager supports the achievement of project outcomes by connecting university resources and programs to the UPI sites to help address the academic, wellness, and personal development needs of youth and their families. Manages the university's technical assistance function in support of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) grant beneficiaries.
Assists the Program Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the UPI project, ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of project activities.
Designs and delivers technical assistance (TA) services to school district and community schools participating in the UPI project.
Develops and implements a system for tracking and monitoring TA delivery including the development of and use of resources, training materials, and evaluation tools. Maintains a digital repository of resources including training materials, best practices and evaluation tools.
Manages the development and implementation of a quality management plan for TA services including procedures for feedback, continuous improvement, and evaluation.
Partners with UPI site principals, school-level stakeholders, and MDCPS district administration to establish and scale community and partner engagement in support of the project.
Collaborates with the University of Central Florida, FIU School of Education & Human Development faculty, and the project's independent evaluator(s) to collect data, monitor progress, and support evaluation activities.
Visits partner sites to ensure alignment with UPI guidelines and the implementation of community school strategies.
Manages logistics related to UPI grant activities including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working with public K-12 school systems.
Experience counseling and/or advising students.
Experience working with students from special populations or underrepresented groups such as first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities.
Other Information
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and at locations outside of the University.
Ability to travel locally.
