Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in a full-time capacity, providing care in a residential setting for individuals with developmental disabilities.
The position is based in Brooklyn, NY, and requires working 35 hours per week.
The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to manage medical needs in a structured environment.
Requirements
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Monitor and evaluate ongoing medical needs of residents.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams.
Review lab results and consults, ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
Provide on-site clinical support and guidance to residential staff.
Supervise and support AMAP staff, including training and recertification.
Qualifications
Active NYS RN license.
Prior experience in residential, ICF, or OPWDD settings strongly preferred.
Experience with adult populations and developmental disabilities preferred.
Strong documentation and care coordination skills.
