Location & Shift
Glendale, Arizona – Night shift (Full‑Time, 3‑12 hour shifts 6pm–6:30am). Weekend and holiday rotations required.

Sign‑On Bonus
$3,000 sign‑on bonus available for Certified/Licensed CNA or LNA. 12‑month commitment required.

Job Role
Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA/LNA) – Antepartum at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Requires active CNA or LNA license and 1+ year direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

Assist Antepartum, OB triage, and L&D patients with basic nursing care.

Measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate).

Support patient hygiene, movement, and mobility.

Collect patient specimens and monitor input/output; document data in medical records.

Report abnormal findings and communicate patient status to licensed professionals.

Perform delegated procedures (blood draws, foley catheter removal, EKGs, EKG monitoring) under supervision.

Support clerical duties, coordinate patient specimens, and maintain supplies.

Assist with patient transport and OR turnover as needed.

Interact with staff, families, and physicians in a fast‑paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice (new hires).

One year of medical clerical or customer service experience preferred.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Required 85% passing score on ECG/EEG test (if applicable) and completion of corresponding training.

Preferred Qualifications

Arizona Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license.

Recent healthcare experience.

Completion of an approved unit secretary program.
