Job Summary
Seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) for a primary care practice in Tampa, FL. This position offers Monday–Friday hours with 8 paid holidays, an additional personal paid holiday, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians, APRNs, and PAs in patient examinations and treatments.
Collect vitals and medical histories.
Administer diagnostic testing and basic medical procedures.
Enter data into electronic health records.
Provide exemplary patient experience for every patient.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Completion of a medical assisting program or certification/registration.
CPR/BLS certification.
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
Maintenance of all certifications (CMA, CPR, BLS, etc.) current.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical record systems; Athena preferred.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and balance for extended periods; occasional sitting, kneeling, or stooping.
Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
