Job Overview
Responsible for the provision of clinical services including: individual and group therapy, assessments, treatment planning, supportive counseling, and other clinical services identified as medically necessary. This position may be face‑to‑face, remote or a combination of both.

Compensation
Pay based on licensure level and experience
Education and Experience
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related Behavioral Health Discipline from an accredited program.
Practicum or Internship experience in the role of primary therapist and experience in behavioral health and/or substance abuse preferred.
One year post‑graduate experience preferred.
Licensure
License eligible in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Substance Use Disorder certification required.
Computer Skills
Prior computer/PC experience using computerized Medical Electronic Records.
Background Check
Must pass Criminal Investigation and DHHR background checks as well as post‑offer drug screen.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts individual, group and family psychotherapy in a manner consistent with ethical practices and within the skill level of the practitioner.
Provides treatment services following the most appropriate therapy modality, ensuring that treatment is age appropriate, effective, efficient, and meets the client needs and satisfaction.
Utilizes only evidence‑based approaches and materials with consumers in individual, group, and family therapy (research‑proven effective techniques and curriculums).
Performs documentation activities in a timely and accurate fashion adhering to State and Local Licensing laws and policy requirements regarding the format of documentation.
Provides case management activities consistent with the role of primary therapist.
Provides crisis intervention, assessing client and providing therapeutic interventions, making appropriate referral for service.
Conducts standard intake evaluation following agency outlines, recommending therapeutic treatment.
Complies with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations.
Maintains confidentiality of all consumer information and complies with HIPAA regulations including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.
Meets productivity standards as set by program and agency.
Attends all center meetings/trainings as assigned.
Requirements
Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of behavioral health and/or substance use disorders.
Must work well in a team environment.
Works with staff, consumers and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful and effective manner.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
