Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in charge nursing roles and be skilled in managing patient care with a focus on telemetry. This position requires adherence to required vaccines for COVID-19 and seasonal flu, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with varying medical conditions.
Effectively manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
Administer medications and manage peripheral lines.
Utilize rapid response and code team protocols as necessary.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting.
Experience managing patient ratios of 5-6.
Current BLS certification and a valid NY State RN License required.
Previous experience with charting systems is mandatory.
