Prairie Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our warm, collaborative team! We are a well-established, 6-doctor small animal practice serving the North Prairie community since 1988. Our team is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care, while continuing to grow and evolve with advancements in veterinary medicine.
What You’ll Do
Assist with exams, treatments, and patient care
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work
Take radiographs
Stock rooms/treatment area as needed
Provide client education and communication
Maintain accurate medical records
What We’re Looking For
1+ year experience in veterinary medicine
Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care
Positive, team-oriented mindset
Passion for learning and growth
Schedule
Flexible scheduling options
Full shifts available
Rotating Saturdays 8am - 12pm
Closed most major holidays
No Sundays
