
Feline Caregiver

We are looking for a compassionate and dependable cat lover to provide at-home care visits for our clients' cats. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground-floor with an up and coming business that emphasizes feline well-being and exceptional client engagement. This role is on a seasonal/contract basis primarily taking place during the Holiday Season.
What You'll Do
Travel to and conduct at-home visits for our clients' cats while they're away (gas reimbursement provided daily)
Provide feedings, fresh water refills, and litter box cleanings
Offer companionship, playtime, and gentle attention for the kitties
Clean any cat "accidents" as necessary (supplies provided)
Take photos and compose client updates with each visit
Report any health or behavioral concerns promptly
Respond to any medical emergencies during your visits
What We're Looking For In A Candidate
Genuine experience with cats, familiar with recognizing their behaviors, needs, and quirks
Residence in the greater Madison area
Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance for travel to clients’ homes within the greater Madison area
Ample availability during the Holiday Season; particularly on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year\'s Eve, and New Year\'s Day
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and reading comprehension for care instructions
Willingness to be trained and administer medication subcutaneously and manual oral administration as necessary
Trustworthy & considerate, you will be a guest in our clients' homes
Willingness to complete a background check

Previous experience with cats that have special medical needs
Previous experience in a customer-facing role
Compensation: $15-$35 per assigned visit based upon it's duration with 3 to 15 visits per day.
