Summary
This position offers a sign‑on bonus of $2,000 – $4,000. You will assist with daily clinical and clerical operations of assigned physician practices and collaborate with the physician team to provide quality care and support to providers through consistent communication.
Education
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a GED and have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
Licensure and Certification
Must hold a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT); Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA); National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). CPR certification is required.
Experience
Preferred: Experience as a medical assistant or in a physician office setting.
Other Qualifications
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, and clinical quality initiatives
Proficiency with computers and electronic medical record systems
Can lift 25 pounds
