Nursing Assistant (NA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location:
Select Specialty Hospital Belhaven
Schedule:
PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour shifts - Days or nights available

As a critical illness recovery hospital, we help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives — and our Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.
Responsibilities
Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
Participate in hourly rounds
Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
BLS is required within 90 days of hire
