Neuhaus Foot and Ankle is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for its Hermitage office. We welcome gap‑year or pre‑med students and local Middle Tennessee applicants.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and escort patients from waiting room to treatment room.
Accompany the physician in the treatment room to document the physician‑dictated patient history, including history of present illness, review of systems, past medical and surgical history, family and social histories, medications, and allergies.
Document physical examination findings and procedures as performed by the physician.
Verify benefits for in‑office procedures, DME, and custom orthotics.
Prepare lab work to be sent.
Help doctors and other team members as needed.
During non‑clinic time, answer phones and follow up with patients.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities
Travel to other clinics as needed.
Qualifications
Very task‑oriented and a fantastic multitasker.

At least 1 year of full‑time experience in a patient‑facing role or at least 2 years in a high‑volume customer‑service role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
