Role Overview
As a Pharmacy Technician joining our team, you will provide distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist and help make communities healthier.
Essential Functions
Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
Repackages bulk medications.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses: Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern.
Certifications: N/A.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
