Overview
Centra Rehabilitation Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. We are opening a brand-new 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility in 2026 and offer high-quality, compassionate care for a wide variety of injuries and illnesses in a comfortable environment. We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in a full-time, day schedule.
Responsibilities
Fills orders with correct medication and checks staff accuracy prior to medication release.
Prioritizes work to prepare STAT, Now, and Waiting prescriptions in order of importance.
Reviews patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy, avoids therapeutic duplication, prevents significant drug interactions, and avoids avoidable adverse drug reactions related to allergies. Ensures medications are appropriate for patient factors (height, weight, age, renal function) and data from labs and other sources. Knowledge of the patient population served is required.
Participates in the maintenance and dissemination of drug information through in-service education of hospital personnel, consultation with patients, and collaboration with hospital and Medical staff.
Assists other Pharmacists and Technicians with routine duties, and provides professional and technical guidance to Pharmacy personnel as needed.
Prepares unit-of-use dosage when possible.
Keeps the Director informed of workload status and potential problems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree.
Licenses/Certification: Current state license in good standing.

What We're Looking For
