About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years of successful business-to-business outside sales experience, eager to develop a career in medical or pharmaceutical sales. In this role, you will leverage your existing sales acumen to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, drive product adoption, and contribute to our growth in the South Florida market. While direct medical or pharmaceutical sales experience is a plus, your proven track record in outside sales and a strong desire to learn and excel in healthcare are paramount.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories, including medical offices, hospitals, and rehabilitation institutions
Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Consult with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using our products/services.
Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.
Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the healthcare community.
Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for increased product usage
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, medical affairs) to align on strategies and deliver cohesive customer experiences.
Participate in initial and ongoing product and sales training programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years of documented successful outside sales experience in a B2B environment, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Proven ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with diverse customers.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or contact management software
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory (including overnight travel as needed).
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
Experience or strong interest in specific therapeutic areas (e.g., primary care, urology, infectious disease, nephrology)
Pay range and compensation package
Attractive base salary with uncapped commission potential (OTE $130,000+).
