Job Description
In support of our TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) contract, the supervisor will:
Manage rate of participant non-compliance
Hold weekly team meetings
Schedule individual supervision sessions with staff at least quarterly
Participate in monthly unit meetings
Ensure ongoing and open communication with staff and peers
Ensure that application process is completed and initiated in database/software in a timely fashion as required by contract
Review comprehensive service plans
Ensure that case managers are monitoring client’s progress toward goal of self sufficiency
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Five years of related as well as two years employee supervisory experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong management and organizational skills
Ability to work with culturally diverse population
Ability to work across all levels of management and staff
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
Valid driver's license in good standing and automobile insurance
