Intake/Admissions Nurse
We are currently seeking RNs to work PRN in the Intake/Admissions department. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person.
Responding expeditiously to patient referrals
Review of patient records
Processing patient admissions
Patient assessments
Obtaining admission approvals
PRN days and hours can vary. Shift hours for full-length shifts may be 10:00am to 10:00pm, 2:00pm to 2:00am, and/or 7:00pm to 7:00am. Please let us know your shift preferences at the interview.
Qualifications
Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred.
Understanding of commercial and Medicare insurances
Knowledge of patient level of care requirements
Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing) as a Registered Nurse/RN
BLS/CPR Certified
