Qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES :
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong assessment and interpersonal skills
Flexible and able to meet demands of heavy caseload
Ability to maintain patient records and confidentiality
Excellent understanding of professional boundaries/relationships with staff and patients
Excellent clinical and didactic skills and understanding of group dynamics
Must understand the needs of patients aged 3 through 18
Demonstrated ability to work on cross functional teams
EDUCATION : Master's degree in Social Work, Masters Degree in Counseling or Psychology
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION : LMSW, LCSW, LPCA, or LPC.
EXPERIENCE : At least 6 months' work in individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, case management and discharge planning preferably in an inpatient psychiatric facility; familiarity with ethical and legal duties regarding reporting of abuse.
