Weekend Group Therapist (State Licensure Required)

Overview

Responsibilities
Collaborate with nursing staff and treatment teams to promote patients' treatment and recovery.
Responsible for performing necessary documentation, developing and facilitating groups, performing departmental support tasks, and assisting with patient related activities under the supervision of licensed staff.
Formulate short term goals and interventions for patients based on Therapeutic Admissions Assessment results, aligned with established long term goals.
Work with the treatment team to teach patient needs and provide individual interventions for patients with mental illness and/or substance addiction, helping patients identify behaviors that impact decompensation and determine realistic strategies to manage symptoms and maintain recovery.
Report and document any changes observed in condition, mood, affect, or behavior of patients.
Qualifications
Education and Licensure: COTA, OT, LMHC, LCSW, LADC 1, or LICSW required.
Experience: Ideal candidates are passionate about behavioral health and the organization’s mission, and are driven to assist patients. We invest in career growth and offer paid training and opportunities to gain experience in a behavioral health setting.

Pay, Shifts, and Benefits
Pay Range: $28 - $41/hour depending on licensure and years of experience. Shifts Available: Weekend Shifts - Flexible Hours. This is dependent on experience and licensure.
