Part-time Hygienist needed at North Ridge Family & Cosmetic Dentistry on Mondays, 9:00am - 5:00pm, and Tuesdays, 7:00am - 3:00pm.
The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by providing preventive dental services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall treatment plan established by the dentist. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
Perform oral health assessments, including charting conditions of decay, disease, and other dental issues.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
Take, develop, and evaluate dental radiographs (X-rays).
Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Record and maintain accurate patient treatment information and medical histories.
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed.
Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to infection control protocols.
Stay current on dental hygiene best practices and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
Current State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
