Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare payer environment. This role will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct current state ("as-is") analysis to understand existing business processes, systems, and constraints
Define and document future state ("to-be") processes using appropriate tools and methodologies
Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements, including use cases and user stories
Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, including meetings, workshops, and JAD sessions
Develop business context diagrams, process flows, and data flow diagrams to validate requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine project requirements
Identify and assess the business impact of system and application changes
Ensure traceability between requirements, design, and testing activities
Work closely with development, QA, and project teams to support successful delivery
Ensure adherence to enterprise standards for requirements documentation and processes
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Experience as a Business Analyst in IT or system implementation projects
Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping
Experience facilitating workshops and working with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements
