What You'll Do
Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
Provide individualized care by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.
Educate patients and families on the nature of mental health disorders, the disease of addiction and the need for treatment.
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.
What We're Looking For
An active RN license in [state]
A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or 5 years of supervisory experience; phlebotomy skills preferred.
Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during orientation.
CARN certification preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and the capacity to safely administer medications and proficiency in effectively managing medical and behavioral health emergencies such as suicide ideation and aggression.
Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders and DSM criteria and terminology.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.
