Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Current undergraduate student at Fayetteville State University
Complete an interview and internship orientation with the College of Business and Economics Internship Coordinator
Complete the Student Learning Contract with the Office of Career Services and Internship Coordinator
Work a maximum of 20 hours per week for 10 weeks during the Spring or Fall semesters (or 40 hours per week for 10 weeks during the Summer)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Commitment to community and giving back
Background and maturity to learn from the experience
Well organized, self‑starter, takes direction well, seeks assignments and guidance
Continuous learning mindset through feedback
Open to change and varying workplace
High level of written and oral communication skills
Problem analysis and solution skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, internet browsers, keyboarding skills, and Adobe Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, internet browsers, keyboarding skills, etc.
Hiring Range
$16.00 per hour
