Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient | Ridgefield, CT

RVNAhealth Therapy Center

RVNAhealth is seeking a Full time licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient Therapy Center located in Ridgefield, CT. This role focuses on orthopedic care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Full Time: Monday-Friday

What You’ll Do

Provide hands‑on therapy treatments following plans of care established by the Physical Therapist

Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, mobility, and strengthening

Apply modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy

Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Document visits accurately in the EMR and maintain compliance with clinical standards

What We’re Looking For

Licensed PTA in Connecticut (required)

Graduate of an accredited PTA program

Outpatient and/or orthopedic experience preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Organized, patient‑focused, and detail‑oriented

About The Therapy Center
Our Ridgefield Therapy Center offers a modern outpatient setting with a full gym, private treatment rooms, and specialized programs including orthopedic rehab, balance and fall prevention, and Parkinson’s therapy.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $36 - $40/hour and represents RVNAhealth’s commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
