The School of Nursing seeks applicants for non-tenure track faculty positions beginning July 1, 2026. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate's area of expertise and providing service at the school, college and university levels. The nursing programs include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner and Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Required Qualifications
MSN in Nursing
Unencumbered Georgia Registered Nursing license
Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications
A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
A record of mentoring students
Responsibilities
Position is responsible for teaching up to 15 credit hours per semester and providing service to the school, college and university levels. Teaching responsibilities may include engaging undergraduate nursing students through clinical experiences, simulation-based learning, and/or classroom instruction. Faculty are encouraged to bring creativity, mentorship, and evidence-based strategies to foster student growth and professional readiness.
