Conduct evaluations and assess home environments
Identify speech/language issues and develop plans to improve function
Administer diagnostic evaluations and recommend communication aids
Prepare reports and provide guidance to clients, families, and staff
Deliver direct speech therapy services and monitor progress
Qualifications
Certification from ASHA and state licensure
At least 1 year of acute care or equivalent experience
Knowledge of speech therapy principles
Current CPR certification
Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and insurance
