Job Summary
Functions under the direction of the Site Manager. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Builds a culture of trust and engagement as reflected in the Great Place to Work Trust Index Survey at a direct report, workgroup and hospital/entity level. Holds leaders accountable for behaviors that create trust and engagement. Performs all duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner that reflects the values of WellStar. Maintains and strengthens relationships with physicians and assures their involvement in developing systems to assure the growth of the service and the cost effective delivery of quality patient care in a manner that fosters patient and employee satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education
Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
Required Minimum Experience
1 year ICU/CCU/ER or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab experience Preferred
Required Minimum Skills
The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar's "Standards of Gold" and "Values").
