
2nd Shift Machine Operator Die Cutter

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Personalization Department, you will operate the die cutting machine, cut embroidered emblems, and process goods. We have a 5-day work week with weekends off. There is an immediate opening and on-the-job training.

What You’ll Be Doing
Obtain production dies and align stitched outlines on sheets or rolls of embroidered fabric.
Position, cut, and remove emblems from the work surface.
Utilize raw materials by aligning dies as directed to avoid waste.
Adjust die cutting equipment and replace die cut boards as necessary.
Keep a clean workstation.
Maintain productivity levels as instructed.
Report malfunctions to location management.
Participate in cross-training in other Personalization/Production areas and the Distribution Center.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
Qualifications
High school diploma and/or GED equivalent is required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to apply skills to ensure consistency, quality, and timely service.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
