
Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment
Responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
Qualifications
5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC
Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License
Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
Strong oral and written communication required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Compensation Range: $42.84 - $57.18 per hour. The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
