The Registered Nurse – NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre‑term or at‑term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. The Registered Nurse – NICU provides intensive around‑the‑clock care, including both medical needs and basic daily care activities.
Minimum Requirements
Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices
One year NICU experience required
NRP card per contract requirement
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
