Position Summary
CHRISTUS Health, a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services, is seeking a fellowship‑trained breast radiologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have advanced training in breast imaging and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis)
Perform breast ultrasounds and MRI interpretations
Conduct image‑guided breast procedures (stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI‑guided biopsies, wire/localization procedures)
Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor boards
Collaborate closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and teaching (if applicable)
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree
Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
Completion of an accredited breast imaging fellowship
Eligible for medical licensure in Louisiana
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous learning
