Purpose
Perform standardized Materials Lab tasks including metallographic preparation (cutting, grinding, polishing), and some powder characterization tasks. Operate optical microscope. Assist technical staff with development efforts. Monday – Friday 1st shift, 8 am – 4:30 pm.

Powder characterization

Chemical analysis

Powder flow meter

Humidity testing

Adhesive characterization

Adhesive test sample preparation

Basic Qualifications

Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls

High School Diploma, current college student (science or engineering)

Experience in a laboratory environment

Highly proficient in verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interpret technical documents and work instructions

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to carry up to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with metallography, metallographic preparation, microscopy is a plus

Pay Range: $21 USD – $28 USD
