Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician – Milford
Join Riverside Community Care as a Master’s level Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) Clinician. The clinician is an integral member of the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention program, providing 24/7 crisis intervention services on‑site or mobile to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

Conduct telephone triage of crisis calls.

Provide crisis assessment, stabilization, referral, and follow‑up on‑site and in the community.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, and recovery coaches—to deliver core services.

Serve as a liaison between the MCI team and community providers for continuity of care.

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical supervision, including licensure track hours when eligible.

Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Pay

Unlicensed Clinician: $74,254.54 salaried

Independent Licensure: $79,560 salaried

Additional differentials: $1 hourly for 2nd shift (evenings), $2 hourly for 3rd shift (overnight), and $1 hourly for weekend shifts.

Required Skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access.

Required Experience

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human service field.

Preferred: Two years of experience in mental health settings, including internship experience.

Preferred: One year of experience providing mobile crisis intervention to children/youth under 21, including internship experience.

Preferred: Knowledge and experience with substance use and co‑occurring disorders.
