Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant at our Plano, TX location. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals with patient care, managing medical records, handling medical office administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient clinic operations. The person in this role will also be entrusted with maintaining high standards of professionalism and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care practices
Strong understanding of Medical Terminology
Experience with Medical Records management
Familiarity with Medical Office operations and administrative functions
Effective communication and organizational skills
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is required
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
Experience in a pulmonary, critical care, or sleep medicine setting is a plus
Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in patient interactions
