Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related field.
Licensure:
Active New York State License as a Radiologic Technologist (Required).
Certification:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification is preferred.
Experience:
New Graduates are welcome to apply. Medical background (EMT, CMA, Medical Assistant) is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in operating X‑ray equipment, positioning patients, and producing high‑quality diagnostic images. Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent patient communication, ability to work independently, and commitment to quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X‑ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
Position patients correctly and ensure proper technique for optimal image quality.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Process and review images for quality, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Assist with other clinical duties as needed based on medical background.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
