Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department at Aurora Medical Center – Kenosha. 21-bed ED with fast-paced, comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages. Average daily volume around 100 patients. Nurse assignment 4:1, nursing assistants 10:1, typical patient stays 4–6 hours. Location: Kenosha, WI. We seek nurses who can think quickly, work efficiently, and thrive in a highly collaborative, team-focused environment. Initiative, adaptability, and the ability to respond calmly under pressure are essential; experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making; communicate effectively while leading efforts to create a safe patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by American Heart Association within 6 months of hire
