Unit Details
The Adult Community Crisis Stabilization Unit has 10 private rooms and offers a comfortable, supportive setting with a lower client census, making it an ideal learning environment for new graduates.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and documenting medication self‑administration during clients’ stay
Monitoring client physical medical issues and working with Mental Health Workers to arrange for acute medical care for clients when needed
Facilitating health and wellness groups and activities
Delivering treatment interventions that are strength‑based and solution‑focused
Encouraging consumer completed risk management/safety plans and Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP)
Coordinating with clients’ outpatient and A‑CCS care providers
Completing documentation per shift as assigned
Participating in ongoing required training
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associate or Bachelor’s degree)
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration
Demonstrates reliability, responsibility, teamwork, growth mindset, attention to detail, organization, flexibility, and capacity to provide support and quality care to improve the physical and mental health of individuals served
Independent problem‑solver, able to work with minimal supervision when necessary
One‑year experience in an acute mental health and/or dual diagnosis setting (preferred)
Familiarity with recovery‑oriented treatment for severe mental illness (preferred)
Compensation
Salary range: $83,700 – $100,500 USD for a full‑time, 40‑hour per week position. Compensation depends on experience, qualifications, certifications and licenses.
