We specialize in same-day outpatient procedures, partnering with area clinics to provide a more convenient and affordable alternative to hospital-based surgeries.
As an FT RN, you will play a critical role in preparing and recovering patients from surgery by conducting thorough assessments, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering exceptional care. You will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients in the postoperative setting.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during recovery from anesthesia.
Plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families.
Coordinate discharge preparations and instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and staff to provide quality postoperative care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
Active RN license in the state.
BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
