Position: Vertical Form and Fill Machine Operator Shift: AM Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain vertical form and fill bagging machines Ensure smooth product flow through the machine and make necessary adjustments Load bags onto the feed conveyor and adjust guides to ensure proper placement Check bag size and weight to meet production specifications Monitor the machine for jams or malfunctions and take corrective action as needed Maintain production logs and track equipment performance Perform routine maintenance and clean machinery Keep the work area organized, safe, and clean Skills and Qualifications: Experience monitoring and operating bagging machines Ability to verify product weight and adjust machine settings Comfortable loading and unloading products Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment Full-Time Employee Benefits: 5 vacation days after 1 year of service 10 vacation days after 3 years 15 vacation days after 10 years 7 paid holidays annually Company-paid life insurance after 90 days of employment Affordable health and supplemental benefits Guaranteed Saturdays off $100 birthday check FMLA eligibility after 1 year or 1,250 hours worked Bud’s Best Cookies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
