Summary – Manages the electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.

Manages the electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Ensure that high standards of safety are developed, met, and maintained.
Ensure that the facility and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards, and fiscal considerations.
Maintain FIIX Maintenance Program
Conduct regular maintenance inspections of building and grounds.
Provide a summary of recommendations and relevant programs to the Plant Manager.
Evaluate long-term needs in relation to key projects and property improvements and develop a five-year plan outlining it in cooperation with relevant managers.
Coordinate, arrange, and supervise the completion of corrective and preventative maintenance in accordance with operating procedures, practices, and financial consideration.
Completion of work may involve management of subordinates or contracted labor per bid.
Lead the way on machine life expectancy analysis and replacement recommendations across the three FG sites.
Ensure that major equipment and furnishings are maintained in safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement.
Develop, implement, and review equipment records including FIIX.
Establish a thorough Preventative Maintenance program to include storage of critical components.
Review and evaluate downtime issues within production areas to reduce/eliminate downtime due to machine failure.
May arrange for or provide training for personnel as it relates to the safety and maintenance needs of the facility or specific equipment, i.e.: effective utilization of the maintenance logs, completion of routine maintenance specific to the facility, equipment operations, fire safety.
May attend training programs relevant to the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to maintenance and safety as an ad hoc member of the team.
Participate in annual budget preparation as it relates to the safety and maintenance of the facility, grounds, and equipment.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate's degree preferred and/or equivalent work history;
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering is a plus.
Five years of manufacturing maintenance experience in all phases of building maintenance.
Five years of manufacturing maintenance experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Three years of proven supervisory/managerial experience utilizing a combination of technical, managerial and financial expertise.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relative to plant operation and maintenance.
PC proficient using MS Office products.
Must be a proactive problem solver.
Experience with a quality system (ISO experience preferred) and fiscal responsibilities.
